Scheduled to take place on 25–26 November at Excel London, London Build 2026 will once again position itself as one of the country’s largest gatherings for professionals working in construction, architecture, engineering and the built environment. The event will be co-located with elementalLONDON, expanding its focus on sustainability, innovation and future-facing urban development.

This year’s programme reflects growing industry attention toward issues such as decarbonisation, digital transformation, fire safety and housing delivery. Organisers say the conference will feature more than 900 speakers across 17 CPD-accredited stages, creating a platform for discussion around both policy and practical implementation.

Among the key stages announced for 2026 are the Sustainability Arena, AI & Digital Construction Arena, Fire Safety Arena and Innovation Arena, alongside dedicated forums for architecture, social housing, infrastructure, interior fit-out and health and safety. The programme also includes a Careers in Construction Hub, underscoring ongoing concerns around labour shortages and workforce development within the sector.

The breadth of participating organisations highlights the increasingly collaborative nature of the construction industry, with representatives expected from government bodies, housing associations, engineering consultancies, design studios and Tier 1 contractors. The conference agenda aims to address the interconnected challenges facing the built environment, from climate resilience and regulatory reform to the integration of emerging technologies.

Particular attention is expected to focus on artificial intelligence and digital construction methods, areas that are rapidly reshaping workflows across design, planning and project delivery. At the same time, sustainability remains a central theme, reflecting mounting pressure on the industry to reduce emissions and adopt more environmentally responsible building practices.

Housing will also play a major role in the discussions, with stages dedicated to both social housing and the wider UK housing sector. These sessions are likely to examine affordability, supply shortages and the future of residential development amid changing economic and political conditions.

By bringing together voices from across the industry, London Build 2026 aims to function not only as a trade event, but also as a forum for defining the future direction of Britain’s built environment.
