NPO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF) recently signed a business tie-up contract with Fondazione Ordine degli Architetti P.P.C Della Provincia di Milano (FOAM) in Milan, Italy to interact with architects and designers of both parties. As a result of this cooperation, ADF will encourage opportunities to train Japanese and Italian architects and designers, improve the social status of them, and interact with each other. From now on, ADF will continue to provide a higher quality of design information than ever before.
FOAM is a non-profit organization founded in 1998 with the aim of supporting initiatives that can enhance and qualify the profession of the architect. For mission and statute, they promote the culture of architecture and architectural project, organizing events, exhibitions, awards; They provide training for its members and collaborate with public administration in promoting architectural competitions. Due to its mission and purpose, FOAM is and has always been linked to Ordine degli Architetti, Pianificatori, Paesaggisti e Conservatori della Provincia di Milano (OAM).
ADF will support the award established by FOAM, “The Premio Naolaureti”, and invite the best student of the Polytechnic University of Milan to Japan to increase with the international cultural exchange. The award wants to put the best graduates of the Polytechnic University of Milan in touch with the cultural and professional reality of design and architecture, planning, landscape, and conservation, giving them at the same time visibility and exposure to their thesis works.
