This exhibition explores how AI advancements and the expansion of virtual spaces influence creative expression. Featuring works utilizing game engines, VR, and generative AI, it showcases new aesthetics and artistic techniques while examining the relationship between art and technology, redefining human creativity and emotions in the digital era.

National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo "MOMAT Collection"
This exhibition showcases around 200 carefully selected works from the museum's collection of approximately 13,000 pieces, offering a comprehensive look at Japanese art from the late 19th century to the present. Fukuda Art Museum "Higashiyama Kaii and a journey through landscape: From Japan to the World"
This exhibition highlights the landscape paintings of Higashiyama Kaii, who traveled extensively across Japan, Europe, and China to depict the beauty of nature in his works. Featuring around 30 masterpieces from the Fukuda Art Museum’s collection, including special exhibits of "Evening Cool" and "Hanaakari," the exhibition also explores the evolution of landscape painting in Japan and the West.

Hotel Resol Ueno "Special Exhibition by Ayako Goto"
Hotel Resol Ueno’s art gallery "Resol Gallery Ueno" presents a special exhibition by artist Ayako Goto in February 2025. A graduate of Kindai University’s Faculty of Literature and a member of the Kokuga-kai, Goto is known for her innovative works. ART TOWER MITO "Aki Kondo: What I Saw, When I Tore Myself Open"
The Art Tower Mito Contemporary Art Center will host a solo exhibition by painter Aki Kondo (b. 1987) from February 15 to May 6, 2025. Kondo, who debuted in the wake of the Great East Japan Earthquake, expresses themes of memory, nature, life and death, and the interconnection of diverse existences. Through her paintings, the exhibition delves into themes of celebrating life, coexistence with others, reflections on disasters and war, and the human capacity for empathy and hope.

ARTDYNE "Aya Kurashiki Solo Exhibition: When Your Bones Creak"
ARTDYNE will host Aya Kurashiki's solo exhibition "When Your Bones Creak" from February 1 to February 16, 2025. Kurashiki is an artist who primarily works with print transfer techniques on flat surfaces, as well as ritualistic installations and performances. Her work explores themes spanning religion, gender, life and death, and the body, while also addressing personal subjects such as occupations and family. Her artistic practice examines close interactions and coexistence with others, often seeking fusion and integration. She is based in Tokyo.

CONTRAST "Flavia Mazzanti Solo Exhibition in Japan"
As part of its participation in "DIG SHIBUYA 2025" from February 8 to February 11, 2025, CONTRAST presents the first solo exhibition in Japan of multimedia artist Flavia Mazzanti, who is based in Vienna and São Paulo. The New York-based art collective MSCHF will present its solo exhibition "Material Values" at NANZUKA UNDERGROUND from February 1 to March 22, 2025. Active since 2019, MSCHF challenges the absurdity of social, cultural, political, and monetary systems through precisely calculated interventions using visual expressions. The collective has exhibited at Perrotin in New York (2022, 2024), Daelim Museum in Seoul (2023), Spritmuseum in Stockholm, and J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles.

HENKYO "Group Exhibition: Each View"
HENKYO presents "Each View," a group exhibition featuring photographers Rinko Kawauchi and Yuji Hamada, along with painters Christian Franzen and Liane Chu, exhibiting in Japan for the first time. This exhibition questions the act of "seeing" itself, as viewers interpret the works differently, exploring the ambiguous space between representation and abstraction.
