TeamLab's "Festival of Light" Kairakuen, Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture

The art group Team Lab holds the "Team Lab Kairakuen Light Festival 2022" from February 1, 2022 (Tuesday) to March 31, 2022 (Thursday) at the Three Great Gardens of Japan, Kairakuen, Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture. The Kairakuen in spring, where different kinds of plum blossoms change according to the season, has been transformed into an interactive light art space that changes according to the presence of the viewers.

Director's Art Fair "Metamall" Alter "Market vol.3" BnA Alter Museum

From March 5 to 27, 2022, BnA Alter Museum holds the art fair "Metamall" Alter "Market vol.3", which considers the market as an alternative. A total of 15 artists exhibit at the fair. Five directors from Tokyo, Nagoya and Kyoto develop the directions and curations that are not bound to existing genres.

Gil Kuno "ON:: OFF:: ON" √ K Contemporary (Root K Contemporary)

Gil Kuno's solo exhibition "ON:: OFF" by Gil Kuno, a Los Angeles artist currently based in New York and Tokyo, at "√K Contemporary" gallery selling contemporary art and contemporary art in Kagurazaka, Tokyo. The exhibition is held from February 19 (Sat) to March 26 (Sat) 2022. It is a large-scale experiential exhibition that appeals to the five senses and uses various media such as music, video, 3D, photography and 2D.

"KAWASAKI x NAKED, INC. -Furusato Kizuna- in Kawasaki Municipal Japanese Folk House Garden" Kawasaki Municipal Japanese Folk House Garden

"KAWASAKI x NAKED, INC. -Furusato Kizuna- in Kawasaki Municipal Japanese Folk House Garden", planned and directed by Naked, took place. Naked plans and leads a night walk on the theme of "Hometown" in Kawasaki Municipal Japanese Folk House Garden, an open-air museum about old Japanese houses in Ikuta Ryokuchi, one of the greatest natural treasures of Kawasaki city.

"ARTISTS' FAIR KYOTO 2022" Kyoto Prefecture

"ARTISTS'FAIR KYOTO 2022" and "ARTISTS' FAIR KYOTO: SATELLITE 2022", now in its 5th year, goes beyond the scope of previous art fairs and is updated each time to allow the next generation artists to go out into the world and promote communication between visitors and artists. Moving on. Kiyomizu-dera, which has been declared a World Heritage Site, will be added as a new initiative, and exhibitions by artists working in Japan and abroad will be held at four venues: West Gate, Three-Story Pagoda, Kyodo and Seijoin. In addition, the event will hold satellite events, symposiums and roundtable discussions in collaboration with artists who have exhibited at "ARTISTS'FAIR KYOTO" in the past.

"Tennozu Art Festival 2021" Tennozu Island

Tennozu Canalside Revitalization Association holds "Tennozu Art Festival 2021" on the Island of Art = Tennozu Isle from March 1 (Tuesday) to March 31 (Thursday) 2022. They exhibit symbolic artworks commemorating Tennozu Isle of Art by displaying large wall artworks on buildings along the canal, art photographs at the Fureai Bridge, and wall artworks at the Station Passage.
