Prototype Your Work and Have a Chance to Exhibit at Milan Design Week 2024

Designtech is now accepting entries for its Additive Design Contest. The contest, organized in collaboration with 3D printer manufacturer Roboze, invites designers and artists to explore the possibilities of lighting, product customization, modular system design, and artwork. The winning entries will be prototyped on Roboze's state-of-the-art 3D printer during Milano Design Week 2024 and exhibited at Designtech's Fuori Salone.

Outline

  • Application period: February 1 - March 15, 2024
  • Eligibility: Designers, artists, students, etc. over 18 years old. Any nationality. Individuals and groups are welcome to participate.
  • Submission: Multiple projects may be submitted with a maximum of one entry per theme via the official website; concept presentation file in PDF format and 3D model in STEP format must be sent.
  • Evaluation criteria: A jury of experts will judge each project based on its concept (form innovation, functionality, sustainability, technical feasibility, and presentation); the project that maximizes the potential of 3D printing will be awarded the prize.
  • Award: Prototypes will be created at Designtech's CoFactory, prototypes will be exhibited at the CoFactory during Milano Design Week 2024, and presented at the awards ceremony.
