BAPE STORE® COMME des GARÇONS OSAKA
The brand “COMME des GARÇONS” was founded in 1969 by worldwide famous Japanese fashion designer, Rei Kawakubo. “COMME des GARÇONS” welcomed in BAPE® for the new concept “BAPE STORE® COMME des GARÇONS OSAKA”. The 15th BAPE STORE® in Japan, opened on the first floor of the Comme des Garçons Osaka store, renewed and relocated to Midosuji in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, where many of the world’s leading brand stores to gather.
On Friday, April 3rd, 2020, A BATHING APE® opened “BAPE STORE® Comme des Garçons Osaka” along Midosuji in Shinsaibashi, Osaka.
As you pass through the store’s entrance along Midosuji, you will see the familiar BAPE® CAMO and the APE HEAD on the wall. The interior of Comme des Garçons based on white has a distinctive appearance and strong presence. “BAPE STORE® Comme des Garçons Osaka”, which is made up of wooden framework-like fixtures while dynamically using BAPE® icons, is a unique combination of BAPE®’s traditional branding and grand interior design by Rei Kawakubo, creating a unique and sophisticated space. Besides, the display table in the center of the store, which may not be noticeable at first glance, is a motif of a piece from the BAPE® CAMO pattern.
