仏教哲学に基づくヤンの宇宙観

現在日本を拠点に活動している中国出身のアーティスト、ルー・ヤン（Lu Yang）による個展｢DOKU The Illusion｣が、第61回ヴェネチア・ビエンナーレ国際美術展の開催に合わせて、またエスパス ルイ・ヴィトンの20周年およびフォンダシオン ルイ・ヴィトンの｢Hors-les-murs（壁を越えて）｣プログラムの10周年を記念し、2026年5月8日（金）から10月4日（日）までEspace Louis Vuitton Veneziaで開催中。

没入型映像インスタレーションとして展開されるバーチャル・ワールドの創造を通じて、国際的なアートシーンにおいて独自の存在感を築いてきたルー・ヤン。本展のために、2019年に始動したナラティブ・プロジェクト｢DOKU｣シリーズの第4章にあたる新作映像《DOKU The Illusion》を中心としたオリジナル彫刻と映像作品によるインスタレーションを制作した。
