Building on the success of Architizer’s A+Awards, the largest global architectural awards program, the Vision Awards will recognize the outstanding image-makers that help the world envision architecture through their unique creations. With 17 categories spanning architectural photography, videography, visualizations, drawings, artificial realities, and physical models, the Awards will provide a definitive perspective on architectural visualization today.

The Vision Awards continues Architizer’s historic commitment to democratizing architecture and highlighting the impact of design on people’s everyday lives. The program is open to all A&E industry professionals, as well as students, hobbyists, and enthusiasts, and provides a unique opportunity to recognize the work of creators who are shaping the way the world sees and experiences architecture today.

These images communicate complex ideas about architecture with graceful simplicity, providing us with a lens through which to view our built environment with a fresh perspective.

The Jury

Anticipated submissions include never-before-published projects from renowned industry leaders, as well as conceptual designs that provide a glimpse into what architecture may look like in the decades to come. Submissions will be judged by an all-star jury featuring influential figures in the fields of architecture, design, technology, film, and beyond, all of whom have a passion for visualizing our built environment. Select jury members include:

  • Shajay Booshan, Associate Director, Zaha Hadid Architects
  • Carlotta Cominetti, Co-Founder, VirginLemon
  • Marcelo Coehlo, Head of Design, Formlabs
  • Arjun Desai and Katherine Chia, Founders, Desai Chia Architecture
  • Jacques Alomo, Head of AI Innovation, youknow

Vision Awards entrants will be judged on their ability to tell a compelling architectural narrative, their success in capturing the essence of a space and its inhabitants, and the likelihood of making an impact on the industry as a whole. Winning images will be memorable, shareable, and have the staying power to influence the next generation of designers.

The best architectural imagery stretches the notion of what it means to be a designer: it expresses political views, shows support for equity, and stresses critical issues like climate change…The best architectural visualizations are truly thought-provoking, challenging, and creative.
