MIID2018 Awards

The Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID) is the national institute representing the interior design profession in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

MIID has hosted various award programs recognizing and celebrating various interior designers across Kuala Lumpur and beyond. This year, MIID held the MIID ANNUAL BALL & AWARDS 2018 as MIID Reka Awards 2018 Ceremony at Nexus Connexion Centre on November 16th, 2018. It is their honor to recognize each of the award recipients for their many accomplishments.

Also, there was a participant's dressed contest, and it was a very entertaining ceremony. Every year, the theme seems to be decided, this year rock 'n' roll was the theme for the dressed contest.

NPO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF) participated in the ceremony as one of the sponsors for this noteworthy celebration last week in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Furthermore, ADF will invite Ms. Tina Lau Kor Ting to Tokyo, Japan next year, as the winner of the MIID REKA Awards 2018 / ADF special award.

The design successfully integrates the old and the new, while maintaining the character of the space. Inventive and creative use of recycled materials adds to the allure of the interior.
