A joint exhibition and award presentation at GARDE Milan showroom during Milan Design Week 2026
The “ADF Design Award 2026,” an international design award for architects worldwide organized by the Aoyama Design Forum (ADF), a non-profit organization, will be on display at the GARDE ITALY showroom from April 20 to April 26, 2026, coinciding with “Milan Design Week 2026,” the world’s largest furniture and interior design trade fair. During this period, the “ADF Design Award 2026” and the “Premio Neo Laureati” exhibition—selected by the Milan Architects Association and its foundation—will be held. This year’s exhibition will feature DAIKAN, a leader in the neon sign industry, and showcase new technologies that go beyond the mere use of neon. It will also include an exhibition by YOSHINO WOOD focusing on Yoshino cedar, cultivated using traditional Japanese forest regeneration techniques.

DAIKAN
DAIKAN is a company with a long track record in the brand signage sector and has participated in numerous international projects. The exhibition will utilize unused wall space within the GARDE Milan showroom to showcase not only traditional backlit signs but also products developed through new technological innovations. The overarching theme of Milan Design Week 2026 is to rethink the relationships between people and objects, people and people, and the past and the future, while shaping the future based on the memory of design. Against this backdrop, the intersection of exhibitions from different fields is expected to foster new interactions and create new value.
