Symbolplus Office Wins “Interiors Project of the Year”
Dezeen has announced the winners of the Dezeen Awards 2025」Interiors Category, celebrating outstanding achievements in interior design from around the world. This year’s 13 winning projects span seven countries, including Japan, France, Canada, Singapore and China, offering a diverse and comprehensive view of the current global landscape of interior design. NPO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF) continues its support as a media partner for Dezeen Awards 2025.
The highest honor in this year’s interiors division, “Interiors Project of the Year”, was awarded to Symbolplus Office, designed by the Tokyo-based studio Symbolplus. The project also won “Workplace Interior (Small) of the Year”, achieving an impressive double victory.
Symbolplus Office: A Workspace Blending Tradition and Futurism
Awarded the top accolade sponsored by Gaggenau, Symbolplus Office skillfully combines natural Japanese materials—such as earthen plaster and washi paper—with modern spatial flexibility using sliding partitions and tilting panels.
