Aesop Diagonal Named "Interiors Project of the Year"

Dezeen Awards aim to honour the best in architecture and design from around the world, and this year's selection once again highlights outstanding projects that contribute to innovation and sustainability. The awards ceremony unveiled winners across nine interiors categories, recognizing projects from countries such as Taiwan, Japan, Portugal, Germany, and the UK.

The NPO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF) once again supports Dezeen Awards 2024 as a media partner.

Interiors Project of the Year

Aesop Diagonal / Mesura (Spain)

Aesop Diagonal, a retail store for skincare brand Aesop in Barcelona, was lauded for its innovative reuse of discarded Montjuïc stone, transforming it into functional furniture and art pieces. The jury praised it as "a brilliant example of maximizing resources while reimagining existing materials into something extraordinary."
