Combining elegance, functionality, comfort and privacy

Espace Skins is a medico-aesthetic clinic located in Montreal, Canada, designed by Indee Design. This project aims to blend elegance, functionality, comfort, and privacy, offering visitors a unique well-being experience.

The clinic's founder, Ève, had previously collaborated with Indee Design two years ago to renovate the reception area of her treatment space in Plateau Mont-Royal, Montreal. By utilizing the vacant neighboring eyewear boutique, the clinic's square footage was doubled, allowing the creation of a dedicated consultation area, distinct treatment rooms, and a sophisticated wellness environment.

Design Aimed at Strengthening Brand Identity

The project focused on enhancing the clinic's brand identity, with three main objectives: optimizing services and expanding space, improving comfort, and elevating brand image. By separating facial and body treatment areas, the design maximized functionality, offering a relaxing and intimate space for clients while providing an optimal work environment for practitioners. Additionally, the minimalist design and visual elements conveyed a sense of professionalism and comfort, reinforcing the brand’s ethos.

Harmonizing Design and Functionality

A key design element was the terrazzo floor discovered during construction. The tones of terracotta, black, white, and gold defined the artistic direction of the space. Curved lines, premium materials like wood and leather, and an aesthetic that evokes the warmth of home created an inviting atmosphere.

A Modern and Elegant Reception Area

The reception area was reimagined as a stylish retail space featuring 30 feet of linear display. Wavy white-painted wooden shelves, lacquered MDF, and metallic elements harmonize with the minimalist decor, enhancing product presentation.

Functional and Sophisticated Treatment Rooms

Treatment rooms seamlessly combine chic style and functionality. Lighting can be adjusted for a soft, relaxing ambiance or a bright, practical setting for procedures. The black tones, brass details, and soft blankets ensure maximum comfort for clients, delivering a luxurious experience.
