An international architecture award organized by World Architecture Community
The 52nd Cycle of the WA Awards 10+5+X, hosted by the World Architecture Community (WAC), is now open for submissions. The deadline is 3 November 2025 (23:59 GMT+0). This global awards program celebrates outstanding creativity and innovation in architecture and interior design, providing international recognition to projects often overlooked by conventional media. Aoyama Design Forum (ADF, NPO) supports the WA Awards as one of its official media partners.

Eligibility & Categories
Submissions are open to architects, architecture offices, interior designers, interior design studios, and students. Projects can be submitted under two main sections — Architecture and Interior Design — and classified into the following three sub-categories:
Architecture
- Designed: Conceptual/unbuilt projects
- Realised: Built projects completed within the last 10 years
- Student: Design projects by students, with the supervisor’s name included
Interior Design
- Realised: Completed within the last 10 years
- Student: Design projects by students, with the supervisor’s name included
Judging Process & Evaluation Criteria
Projects are judged based on originality, creativity, and innovation. Jury evaluation also considers the architect’s project explanation and community discussions. The judging is held in two phases:
- Phase 1 (10 projects): Selected by WAC Honorary Members and previous WA Award winners
- Phase 2 (5 projects): Selected by votes from the general WAC Member community
In total, 15 winning projects are selected per cycle.

- Free for Students and WAC Professional Members
- For Basic / Business Members:
• Designed category: $130
• Realised category: $240
Professional Membership is available at $340 per year.
