A New Residential Project That Coexists with the Rich Natural Environment of Mexico

The residential project Four Houses (Pinares), designed by Grupo Arquitectura, has been completed amidst the lush natural landscape of Valle de Bravo, Mexico. With a focus on blending architecture with the surrounding nature, Grupo Arquitectura preserved the existing trees and carefully adapted the design to the sloping topography. The result is a series of houses that appear as if they have been part of the natural environment for years, offering a harmonious living space where architecture and nature coexist seamlessly.

A Design in Harmony with the Environment

The structure of the houses features a metallic frame, with exposed wooden beams and panels used for the floors. The exterior walls are clad in Silver Travertine and wooden panels, while the retaining walls and general fences are constructed from local stone, arranged without joints to create a cohesive blend with the natural surroundings. Inside, the floors are laid with gray Caledonia stone from India, providing a simple yet elegant aesthetic that enhances the beauty of the natural environment.

Balancing Privacy and Scenic Views

The houses are arranged in a staggered layout, allowing the living areas to enjoy descending views of the sloping landscape while maintaining privacy for the rear service areas. Thoughtful design extends to the environmental systems, incorporating automated lighting and cutting-edge glass technology for energy efficiency and sound insulation. Wastewater recycling and treatment systems are also employed, ensuring the homes are as sustainable as they are beautiful.
