Juliet Rogers, Chief Strategy Officer of CannonDesign and President of Blue Cottage of CannonDesign, described Cityfi as “a bold, gutsy company” willing to address challenges others often avoid. She emphasized the value of systems thinking and interdisciplinary collaboration in shaping future cities and communities. Cityfi has advised companies including Waymo, Verizon, and Automotus, while also collaborating with public leaders in New York City, Copenhagen, Los Angeles, and Pittsburgh. Their work addresses emerging urban issues such as inclusive mobility, governance transformation, advanced technologies, public space redesign, and climate resilience.

The partnership expands CannonDesign’s integrated capabilities beyond architecture, engineering, and interior design into broader urban strategy and mobility planning. Through this collaboration, the firm aims to provide more holistic solutions across healthcare, education, housing, civic infrastructure, and public realm projects. Cityfi will continue operating under its existing name while integrating into CannonDesign’s larger consulting practice. The announcement follows a series of strategic expansions by CannonDesign, including the recent addition of Ennead Architects and other specialized consulting and design firms.
