Highlighting the World’s Most Compelling Spatial Design
The shortlist for the interiors category of the international design and architecture award "Dezeen Awards 2025" has been announced. Now in its eighth edition, Dezeen Awards continues to attract global attention across architecture, interiors, and design. This year's shortlisted projects feature a wide range of spatial design by both emerging talent and established global names. NPO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF) is once again supporting Dezeen Awards 2025 as an official media partner.

In total, over 4,300 entries were submitted from more than 85 countries. A total of 269 projects have been shortlisted across 49 categories spanning architecture, interiors, design, and sustainability. The top five submitting countries were the United States, United Kingdom, China, Australia, and Japan.

The interiors shortlist includes globally renowned studios such as Herzog & de Meuron, Foster + Partners, Olson Kundig Architects, Heatherwick Studio, and Neri & Hu. Alongside these well-known names, ambitious and experimental work from small studios also features prominently, reflecting the diversity of voices shaping contemporary spatial design.

Shortlists for architecture, interiors, and design were released between October 6 and 9, 2025, on the official Dezeen website. The final winners will be announced during the Dezeen Awards 2025 ceremony to be held at Exhibition White City in London on November 25. Tickets for the awards party are available at £180 for this year’s entrants and £225 for general attendees.
