A Design Residence Offering Panoramic Views of São Paulo’s Tropical Coast, Brazil
Brisa House is a residential project by FCstudio that pursues contemporary design and harmony with nature, with a vertical structure and expansive windows, designed to allow residents to enjoy the ocean and surrounding nature to the fullest. Balconies further enhance the sense of connection to nature, offering a seamless, open experience.
This home redefines modern living by blending design, functionality, and sustainability. Durable natural stone and materials resistant to salt air were chosen to ensure longevity while maintaining a balance between aesthetics and ease of maintenance.
Design Features
Signature pieces like the "Equilíbrio" and "Libélula" tables are featured prominently, adding distinctive character to the interiors. These furniture designs reflect a commitment to natural harmony and sculptural beauty. The "Equilíbrio" table, for instance, utilizes a cantilevered structure to achieve a balance of form and function. The kitchen and gourmet area combine practicality and design, creating a space where residents can enjoy cooking and entertaining. Expansive windows provide breathtaking views of the sea, bringing nature into daily life.

Innovative Lighting
The 8-meter tensioned canvas lighting fixture stands out for its dynamic design. Its color changes with the time of day, replicating the hues of sunset and adding a transformative element to the interiors. This lighting not only serves a functional purpose but also enhances the aesthetic appeal of the entire space.
Art and Nature in the Garden
The garden features the artwork "Awapé" by renowned Brazilian artist Hugo França. This organic sculpture blends seamlessly with the surrounding vegetation, creating a sense of unity between art and nature. The base, crafted from corten steel, complements the overall architecture and reinforces the harmony of the design. The garden’s layout emphasizes a coexistence with nature, offering residents a serene space to enjoy art and greenery in their everyday lives.
Rooftop Design
The rooftop is designed to maximize enjoyment of the South Atlantic’s stunning views. Seating arrangements are carefully planned to ensure unobstructed vistas, allowing residents to fully immerse themselves in the scenery. Unique furnishings, such as a side table repurposed from a ship propeller, highlight the project’s innovative use of materials and commitment to sustainability. This area is ideal for relaxation and social gatherings, offering a space that celebrates both nature and human connection.
