From the outside, MasaHouse makes a confident architectural statement. Its façade of steel metal wall plates and clean-lined wood planks signals a contemporary sensibility, offering a preview of the carefully choreographed interior that lies beyond. The exterior balances restraint and boldness, setting expectations for a dining environment shaped by precision and material honesty.

Inside, the design unfolds as a layered composition of steel, wood, and light. Exposed steel frameworks provide both structural clarity and visual rhythm, reflecting natural light that shifts throughout the day to create evolving patterns of shadow and sheen. This industrial backbone is softened through the extensive use of natural wood, which appears in flooring, furniture, and detailing, grounding the space with warmth and tactile comfort.

Lighting plays a central role in defining MasaHouse’s atmosphere. Custom-designed AYOTLI luminaires—handcrafted from wood canvas and embellished with gold, silver, and copper leaf—function as sculptural elements as much as sources of illumination. Carefully positioned throughout the space, they help modulate the restaurant’s character, supporting a lively daytime setting that transitions smoothly into a more intimate evening ambiance.
