AtMa’s “J39.5” Wins Design Project of the Year
At the Dezeen Awards 2025 party in London, AtMa’s “J39.5” was named Design Project of the Year and also won Collectible Design of the Year. Fourteen design category winners were announced, including projects by Flokk, Kvadrat, Paul Crofts Studio and Terzofoco. AtMa’s J39.5 repurposes salvaged parts of Børge Mogensen’s iconic J39 chair into one-off seating pieces. The master jury described it as “an act of rebellion against the constant churn of newness” and praised its craft warmth and its creation of new value without new materials.
