Japanese artists held a gallery in Paris - mono-atelier de céramique

I lost my rhythm, and then I found it again. Together with a friend who shares the same dream, I am opening a ceramic studio in the 18th arrondissement of Paris. Please help us bring this space to life.

In February 2025, I lost my part-time job as a graphic designer, which I had held for three years.
That work had supported my studio rent and materials, and it gave me a gentle way to return to society after giving birth.

When I lost it, I felt panic. Should I search for other freelance work? Apply for another design job? But, one thought kept returning again and again. I wanted to open my own ceramic studio.

Of course, there are risks. Prices are rising, and times feel uncertain. But, the dream filled me with more excitement than fear. I knew I had to take the leap.

A friend who shared the same vision found the perfect place: a former garage.
As people say, everything starts in a garage.

We painted the floors, walls, and ceiling white, and gradually added secondhand furniture, well-used tools, and objects with stories. We have invested as much as we can, but to truly grow this studio, we need support.

That is why we launched a crowdfunding campaign:

Even a small contribution makes a huge difference. As a token of gratitude, one reward is having your name engraved on our studio window, so your presence lives on in Paris. It is our way of sharing the dream together.

And if you ever visit Paris, please come and see us. This is just the beginning, but we are excited to grow this space step by step.
