An installation expressing peace and love through color

Japanese creative unit SPREAD will unveil new editions of “Much Peace, Love and Joy” at We Design Beirut 2025, held from 22 to 26 October 2025. The works will be exhibited at two venues — Villa Audi Mosaic Museum and Immeuble de l’Union — in distinct spatial compositions.

Born from a desire to create happiness through color, the immersive installation employs vivid gradations printed using letterpress techniques and torn by hand into organic shapes. One configuration suspends these forms in space like floating fragments, while another frames them as individual works. Both evoke movement, lightness, and interconnectedness — with color as a metaphor for vitality and imagination.

“Color itself is inherently beautiful,” says SPREAD. “Each person has their own resonant hue. Through the work, visitors embark on a journey through their own memories and emotions.” “Much Peace, Love and Joy” embodies SPREAD’s vision to advance society through the power of color — bringing people together in a shared sense of harmony and joy.
