\"Golden Time\" Exhibition Summary<\/h3>\r\n

The second solo exhibition of \"nici,\" \u201cgolden time\u201d will be held at BLOCK HOUSE, located in Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo on May 1to 5, 2019.<\/p>\r\n

In this exhibition, the previous works presented at the solo exhibition \"I would like to be on fleek(2017)\" will be altered adapting to the unique architectural space of BLOCK HOUSE.<\/p>\r\n

By setting the opening time from sunset to sunrise, this program is to showcase two installation works in the passing of available light.<\/p>\r\n

In the tea room attached on the top floor of BLOCK HOUSE, new works will be presented with the prospect of Harajuku town. They seek for the relationship between art pieces and the environment in the deeply silent night in Harajuku.<\/p>\r\n

About nici<\/h4>\r\n

\u201cnici\u201d is an art unit formed by Yukari Aoki and Kiriko Mitani in 2013 in Tokyo.<\/p>\r\n

\"nici_profile\"<\/a><\/p>\r\n

They get inspirations from the environment and urban circumstances, pursuing the beauty of phenomena that is born on an experimental basis by touching familiar materials, and try to realise what will turn the ordinary perception upside down.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
