Centered on the aesthetic of \u201cthe beauty of the human body and machinery,\u201d which Sorayama has pursued for many years, the exhibition traces his exploration of \u201clight,\u201d \u201ctransparency,\u201d and \u201creflection,\u201d from his early masterpieces to his latest works. Shirow Masamune. Reconstructed as a \u201cfuture body\u201d through Sorayama\u2019s unique interpretation, the work intersects with the long-standing theme of \u201cthe boundary between human and machine\u201d explored throughout the Ghost in the Shell series, while also resonating with the core of Sorayama\u2019s own artistic practice. Sexy Robot_The Ghost in the Shell type 2 (2026) will be exhibited at SORAYAMA: Light, Reflection, Transparency \u2212TOKYO\u2212. In 2026, a new TV animation titled Ghost in the Shell THE GHOST IN THE SHELL, produced by Science SARU, is scheduled for broadcast, with Hajime Sorayama in charge of the title logo design. Created within this context linking the 30th anniversary to the new animation project, the sculpture stands approximately three meters tall. Incorporating mirrored and transparent materials that generate multilayered reflections of light, the work embodies Sorayama\u2019s long-standing pursuit of \u201clight,\u201d \u201ctransparency,\u201d and \u201creflection.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<h4>Comment by Hajime Sorayama<\/h4>\r\n<blockquote>\r\n<p class=\"en\">I designed this work with my own respect and affection for Shirow Masamune. While staying close to the concept of Ghost in the Shell, I have also reflected my own aesthetic.
