A<\/span> fusion of tradition and modernity Ateliers has unveiled a newly designed retail space for Past\u00e9is de Bel\u00e9m, one of Lisbon\u2019s most iconic bakeries established in 1837. Located adjacent to the historic original shop, the new space was created to accommodate the growing number of visitors who come from all over the world to experience the renowned Portuguese custard tarts. Designed by internationally acclaimed interior designer Gracinha Viterbo<\/a>, the space blends timeless elegance with contemporary sensitivity, paying tribute to the brand\u2019s longstanding heritage and identity.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The new interior expresses the artisanal spirit of Portuguese tradition through a carefully curated palette of materials\u2014light oak wood, handcrafted tiles, and textured lime plaster walls\u2014creating an environment that is warm, authentic, and enduring. The lighting design evokes the soft glow of Lisbon\u2019s afternoon light, while highlighting the refined craftsmanship present throughout the space. The layout has been thoughtfully planned to optimize circulation, allowing visitors to enjoy a smooth and engaging experience as they purchase their pastries and coffee.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\n\t\t
