The show will also shed light on Gaud\u00ed\u2019s unique production process, in which he developed his ideas not only through drawings but also by making numerous models, and on his comprehensive artistic orientation, which includes colorful tile coverings, furniture, steelwork decoration, and sculpture. During the course of the project, the ehibition conducted research on the ethical aspects of food with the Bakudapang Food Study Group, an eight-member artist collective from Indonesia. They focused on the genetic modification of crops and the dependence on the production of a single crop (monoculture), especially using the relationship between Japanese and Indonesian food during the Pacific War. The exhibition will present the results of this research through video installations, card games, and material exhibits. Wildflower picking workshops and hands-on card game sessions will also be offered during the exhibition period.
