The thematic session, \u201c<a title=\"Design and Liveability\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hktdc.com\/ncs\/tgthk2018\/en\/s\/info-programme.html\">Design and Liveability<\/a>\u201d held in Tokyo on 1 Nov 2018 features internationally-renowned speakers, industry leaders and innovative thinkers who will share how design thinking and cross-sector collaboration can make the city more liveable and build a better and healthier future. This event will bring together business communities from Hong Kong and different economies to discuss developments and trends in the dynamic global market. It will feature a main symposium, a high-level dinner and various sector-specific sessions. Consultation with Hong Kong service providers and business matching meetings will also be arranged.<\/p>\r\n<blockquote>\r\n<p class=\"en\">From sustainable urban design to vibrant street life, from inclusive community to smart mobility, 'liveability' takes many forms and touches almost every area of our lives. It has become more important than ever to bring diverse sectors and disciplines together to make our cities more liveable. Designing city liveability is work in progress, requiring the need to engage individuals, businesses, organisations and governments to co-shape a better and healthier future.
