HKDC DFA Design For Asia Awards 2021\u00a0<\/h3>\r\n

D<\/span>FA Design for Asia Awards 2021<\/a>, organized by\u00a0Hong Kong Design Centre(HKDC)<\/a>, is open for global submission<\/a> from March 15 till June 18, 2021. 50% discount offer on entry fee is available until the registration made by April 30, 2021.\u00a0ADF is continuously supporting the DFA for Asia Awards 2021 as a media partner.\"adf-web-magazine-dfa-design-for-asia-award-2021-1\"<\/a><\/p>\r\n

The DFA Design for Asia Awards is the flagship programme of the Hong Kong Design\u00a0Centre (HKDC), celebrating design excellence and acknowledging outstanding designs\u00a0with Asian perspectives. Since its launch in 2003, the DFA Design for Asia Awards has\u00a0been a stage upon which design talents and corporations can showcase their design\u00a0projects internationally.<\/p>\r\n

The programme is comprised of five major awards: Grand Award<\/strong>, Grand Award for Culture<\/strong>,\u00a0Grand Award for Sustainability<\/strong>, Grand Award for Technology<\/strong> and Category Award<\/strong>. Entries\u00a0to the Category Award are recruited by open submission, while entries to the other four\u00a0are by nomination. For the Category Award, entrants may submit design projects in one\u00a0of 24 categories<\/strong> under four key design disciplines.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Gold<\/strong>,\u00a0Silver<\/strong>, Bronze<\/strong> and Merit<\/strong> awards are presented to winners in each category. Submissions\u00a0are judged on overall excellence and considering factors like creativity & human centric\u00a0innovation<\/strong>, usability<\/strong>, aesthetic<\/strong>, sustainability<\/strong>, impact in Asia<\/strong> as well as commercial and\u00a0societal success<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n

The judges are design professionals and experts attuned to design developments in Asia\u00a0and experienced in serving as judges for Hong Kong and international design awards.<\/p>\r\n

\"adf-web-magazine-dfa-design-for-asia-award-2021-3\"<\/a>Entry Requirements<\/h4>\r\n

The entry must have actually been produced and (in the case of commercial products)\u00a0have become available\u00a0in one or more Asian markets between 1st January\u00a02019 and 31st May 2021.<\/p>\r\n

The entry must be submitted by the design's owner or client, the brand's owner, its\u00a0designer or its design consultancy. Hong Kong Design Centre may request entrant to\u00a0submit a Letter of Support when awarded, to certify the owner agree the entry submission.<\/p>\r\n
