ADF Participated in the SDGs for Regional Revitalization Public-Private Partnership Platform<\/h3>\r\n

N<\/span>PO Aoyama Design Forum (ADF) has participated in the \"SDGs for Regional Revitalization Public-Private Partnership Platform\" established by the Cabinet Office to promote SDGs initiatives. The \"SDGs for Regional Revitalization Public-Private Partnership Platform<\/a>\" was established by the Cabinet Office in 2018 as a forum for public-private partnerships to deepen partnerships among a wide range of stakeholders, including governments, organizations, private businesses, and citizens, with the aim of promoting the domestic implementation of the SDGs and leading to regional development driven by the SDGs. As of the end of January 2021, 4,558 organizations are participating in the platform.<\/p>\r\n

For creating a \"sustainable world,\" the SDGs present 17 goals, 169 targets, and 232 indicators, which serve as KPIs to measure projects' degree of achievement. Using these, a wide range of stakeholders can have a common language for regional revitalization, progress in understanding project goals, and promote rational collaboration.<\/p>\r\n

Regional revitalization aims to halt the declining birthrate and aging population, overcome the declining population and shrinking regional economy, and secure future growth. For local regions to secure growth potential in the future, sustainable urban development and regional vitalization will be significant.<\/p>\r\n

ADF will contribute to creating regional revitalization by further promoting collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders in line with the SDGs' principles of \"8 Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all<\/a>\", and \"11 Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable<\/a>\".<\/p><\/article>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
