T<\/span>he GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN Awards<\/a> celebrates and rewards the work of designers and architects who improve our quality of life and the built environment, as well as private and public clients who entrust them with their design needs. Enhancing the appreciation and promotion of excellence in design, the awards provide international recognition and exposure to its winners. ADF(NPO Aoyama Design Forum) proudly supports the\u00a0GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN Awards 2021 as a media partner.<\/p>\r\n

From Qu\u00e9bec to the International!<\/h4>\r\n

Created in 2007 in Montr\u00e9al, with the mission of recognizing the excellence of Qu\u00e9bec designers and architects having distinguished themselves through an exemplary practice, the competition was originally open exclusively to firms operating a place of business in Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\r\n

A multidisciplinary Jury of Elites<\/h4>\r\n

Nearly 70, leading professionals, prominent academics, and influential press members recruited across the world, will diligently use their know-how, experience and expertise to assess the excellence of the projects and products presented: Juries<\/a><\/p>\r\n

ELIGIBILITY<\/h4>\r\n

The competition is open to all design and architecture professionals and students, as well as to real estate developers, contractors, manufacturers, and clients who have called upon these professionals to design their projects and products, in several disciplines and categories.<\/p>\r\n

    • Early entry rate until October 15, 2020<\/li>\r\n\t
    • Regular rate until November 15, 2020<\/li>\r\n\t
    • Final rate until December 15, 2020<\/del>\u00a0March 1, 2021(Extended)<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

      The International Jury deliberation will determine Gold, Silver and Bronze finalists.<\/p>\r\n

      Gold laureates become finalists, eligible for Platinum awards (1 per category), for Top50 Qu\u00e9bec and International awards and for Awards of the Year (1 per discipline), announced live on stage at one of the two Gala evenings, held in Montr\u00e9al in June 2021 and\u00a0in Qu\u00e9bec City at the end of Summer, 2021.<\/p>\r\n

      Created in Montreal, UNESCO city of design, in 2007 and organized by PID Agency, the GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN Awards celebrates the work of creators who enhance the quality of our lives and of the built environment, as well as the public and private clients who entrusted them with their needs. Fostering the notion of appreciation and promotion of a quality design, the contest ensures professional recognition and international visibility to its participants. After 13 editions reserved to professionals with a place of business in Qu\u00e9bec, the contest opens entirely to the world as of 2020 and adds new disciplines complementary to design, architecture and landscape. All categories are now open to candidates from Qu\u00e9bec, Canada and the world.<\/p>\r\n
