Registrations are free to WAC and after uploading their projects, participants can send their entries whenever they want before deadline.. Image \u00a9 QingShan Wu.<\/p><\/div>\r\n\r\n<p><strong class=\"normal\">Wa Awards are also open to interior designers, interior design offices and architects for WA Awards!<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>WA Awards includes over 1,500 winning projects since established.\u00a0World Architecture Community has recently added a new section for the WA Awards for\u00a0Interior Designers and\/or Interior Design Offices, calling them to submit their entries to get globally recognized.<\/p>\r\n<p>Since 2006 and for over 30 Cycles, World Architecture Community organises the prestigious and acclaimed WA Awards 10+5+X. Then projects should be sent under these 3 sub-categories\u00a0<strong class=\"normal\">Realised, Designed\u00a0<\/strong>and<strong class=\"normal\">\u00a0Student<\/strong>. All participants should send their projects that meet these conditions:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li><strong>WA Designed Award:<\/strong>\u00a0Projects that were not built,\u00a0<\/li>\r\n\t<li><strong>WA Realised Award:<\/strong>\u00a0Projects that are actually built (built maximum within the last 10 years),<\/li>\r\n\t<li><strong>WA Student Award:<\/strong>\u00a0Projects designed by Students.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><strong class=\"normal\">Realised<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong class=\"normal\">Designed<\/strong>\u00a0categories that are under the\u00a0<strong class=\"normal\">Architecture<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong class=\"normal\">Interior Design\u00a0<\/strong>sections, both open for our Associate members and Professional members. WA Awards is completely\u00a0<strong class=\"normal\">free-of-charge<\/strong>\u00a0for\u00a0<strong class=\"normal\">WAC Professional Members<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong class=\"normal\">Students<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<p>Participants can upgrade their accounts from their WAC accounts or here (<a href=\"http:\/\/worldarchitecture.org\/community\/links\/?waurl=https:\/\/worldarchitecture.org\/community\/mypage\/office-settings\/?join=pro\">Subscribe As A WA Professional Member<\/a>), which will give them <strong class=\"normal\">free entry<\/strong>, as part of their membership benefits, with 1 project in each Cycle. In addition, these easy instructions will help participants to send their projects in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/worldarchitecture.org\/architecture-news\/ecpen\/it-takes-4-1-easy-steps-to-participate-to-the-wa-awards.html\">4 (+1) Easy Steps<\/a>. Besides this,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/worldarchitecture.org\/community\/links\/?waurl=http:\/\/images.worldarchitecture.org\/20151218Students4step-1-.html\">students can follow these steps<\/a>\u00a0to validate their accounts and send their projects in easiest way.<\/p>\r\n<h4>Evaluation Criteria<\/h4>\r\n<p>WA Awards' <strong class=\"normal\">evaluation criteria<\/strong>\u00a0is based on Novelty, Originality and Creativity in design that reflect and inspire a commitment to the art of architecture are the major criteria. World Architecture Community tries to bridge the gap between theory and practice; thus the architect\u2019s explanations and member\u2019s discussions on submissions will be critical for recognition as much as the design itself.<\/p>\r\n<h4>Timetable &amp; Calendar<\/h4>\r\n<p>The\u00a0<strong class=\"normal\">timetable<\/strong>\u00a0for our 3 cycles per year is identical between cycles. The first three months as of the announcement of the new cycle, you are welcome to upload and submit your projects for WA Awards consideration.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<h4>Selection Process<\/h4>\r\n<p>The fourth month of the cycle will be for the\u00a0<strong class=\"normal\">WA Jury to evaluate and vote (the first 10 of the 10+5+X).<\/strong>\u00a0In the meantime, during the entire 4 months, World Architecture Community members may rate the projects that were submitted for WA Awards consideration and at the end of the cycle, once the 4 months are passed, the 5 most rated projects by\u00a0<strong class=\"normal\">World Architecture Community members would form the second 5 of the 10+5+X.<\/strong>\u00a0Within the same time, the WA Jury may also chose some projects as the \"X\" part of the 10+5+X.<\/p>\r\n<h4>Entry Fees<\/h4>\r\n<p>WA Awards Participation Fee for Associate Members (per Cycle and per Project):<\/p>\r\n<p>WAC Professional Membership fee: $180 annual (Professional Membership grants you the right to participate to the WA Awards in either category, free-of-charge with one project per cycle for one full year).<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Designed category: $100<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Realised category: $200<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Students: free<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h4>Jury<\/h4>\r\n<p><strong class=\"normal\">WA Awards' jury is composed by a mixture of our\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/worldarchitecture.org\/community\/links\/?waurl=https:\/\/worldarchitecture.org\/community\/honorary-profiles\/\"><strong class=\"normal\">Honorary Members<\/strong><\/a><strong class=\"normal\">\u00a0and earlier\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/worldarchitecture.org\/community\/winners-profiles\/\"><strong class=\"normal\">WA Award Winners<\/strong><\/a>, <strong class=\"normal\"> will select the first 10 projects.<\/strong>\u00a0The next 5 will be awarded based on the ratings of fellow community members of World Architecture Community.
